Meatballs
2 lbs Ground Turkey
1 tsp. Shaoshing Wine
1 tbsp. Minced Ginger
1 tbsp. Minced Garlic
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
½ c. Bread Crumbs/Panko
Salt and Pepper to taste
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl until combined. Using an ice cream scooper or a large spoon, scoop 2 inches of mixture and shape into meatball. Place on large cooking sheet lined with Parchment Paper. Bake for 10 minutes or until brown, cooked through.
While meatballs are cooking begin making sauce.
Mongolian Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp. Minced Garlic
½ c. Soy Sauce
½ c. Brown Sugar
2 tbsp. Hoisin Sauce
1 tbsp. Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp. White Pepper
2/3 c. Water
It’s best to use a non-stick skillet heat skillet over medium heat. Whisk all the ingredients in a bowl then pour into skillet. Bring to simmer until the sauce thickens. Stir some, so it won’t burn or stick to the pan. 8 – 10 minutes.
When Meatballs are finished cooking, add some to the sauce and coat until Meatballs are covered.
Garnishment
Sesame Seeds
½ – 1 c. Green Onions, sliced
Plate: place cooked noodles in a bowl or plate, top with meatballs. Sprinkle Sesame Seeds and Green Onions over – Enjoy!
